Simple Asian Cooking
    Thursday March 18

    Simplified recipes so you can sample a variety of Asian cuisines.  
    Use fresh ingredients and learn the sauces that enhance them.        
    A perfect opportunity to work on your knife skills!  Menu includes:  
    Thai Chicken and Basil, Easy Beef Pho (Vietnamese Beef Noodle
    Soup), Vegetable Sushi Rolls and Spicy Sichuan Shrimp.

Last Winter Supper

    This very small class will focus on using seasonal ingredients for a
    cozy dinner party, with attention to presentation and entertaining.  
    Dinner Menu includes: Marinated Tomato Mushroom Salad,
    Moroccan Lamb Chops, Mascarpone Polenta, Roasted Baby Bok
    Choy and Pear Upside Down Cake.  Wine tasting included.   

Good Fast Food

    Good-for-you food doesn’t have to be complicated!  Learn to make
    a simple weeknight meal using pantry ingredients and a few fresh
    seasonal additions.  Class includes tasting of all prepared foods,
    recipes and tips for quick healthful meals.  

Under the Sea

    This small group class focuses on the versatility of preparing
    seafood.  Dinner Menu includes:  Hoisin-Glazed Salmon and
    Scallions, Pan Seared Sole with Lemon, Capers and Toasted
    Macadamia Nuts, Shrimp-Avocado Ceviche and Grilled Tuna with
    Roasted Pepper Puree.  Wine tasting included.   

Latin Flavor

    Get ready for your own Cinco de Mayo party!  Entertain and
    celebrate big Latin flavors featured in these bold bites!  
    Menu includes: Black Bean Queso Salad, Caribbean Grilled
    Shrimp, Shredded Pork-Tomato Tostatas with Mexican Crema
    and Jalepeno Corn Custard.  Let’s eat!  

Springtime Baking

    How does yeast work?  What’s does baking soda do?  This small
    class is the perfect place to answer your questions.  Learn the
    science of baking so your recipes are always a success.  Menu
    includes:  Strawberry Scones, Chocolate Pistachio Biscotti, Tomato
    Rosemary Foccacia and French Apricot Tarts.

Jersey Shore Cooking
    Wednesday May 19

    Hands-On Class (limited to 10 students)

    Get ready for summer cooking at the Shore!  We’ll riff on some
    classics, add flair to the grill and get you ready for every
    “Situation.”  Menu includes:  Summer Corn Salad, Chicken Cutlet-
    Broccoli Rabe Sliders, Italian Hanger Steak, Beach Mussels and
    Chocolate Fudge Upcakes.


    Public Classes
    At Clean Your Plate the best way to learn is to actually
    do the cooking yourself with a small group of fellow
    students (no more than 10)

    Throughout the class, Christina demonstrates  
    techniques of what will be prepared in the class, using
    recipes as guidelines. The students cook together,
    share the prepared dishes and have lots of fun!



    What makes Christina's Classes Unique?
    These classes emphasize the techniques.  It's not
    enough to have recipes.  Otherwise, you could just buy
    a cookbook.  Recipes act as a great template for you to
    put your own twist on special dishes.

    Christina addresses the important questions for home
    cooking methods.  These classes don't require you to be
    an expert.  ALL SKILL LEVELS can learn something new.  

    Hands on classes are kept small so you have lots of one-
    on-one attention.  You are involved in the entire
    process so you can execute the theme from start to
    finish.
